JEANETTE GRAY
I am a basket maker living and working in West Wales. Inspired by the landscape, my basketry explores the tension between land use and land rights- the wild next to the cultivated. I gather animal bones, fencing wire and fleece as well as willowbark, grasses, willow and wood to create contemporary forms. I hope my work nudges others to relate, understand and protect the natural environment.

I also offer classes in various traditional and innovative weaving techniques in West Wales, alongside various charity groups at festivals and around the UK.

I offer one to one and small group classes from my home
