Braided Grass Baskets at Westhope College

You will learn how to harvest and prepare various materials to use in this simple yet versatile basketry technique.  We will braid locally gathered grasses and then stitch them into small pots to take home. The course is suitable for beginners, and will open up the world of basketry possibility! You won't look at grasses or leaves the same again.
