Coiled Grass Baskets

Learn how to seasonally gather, store and prepare grasses, leaves and other natural  fibres to coil into baskets that are both useful and beautiful.

Coiled baskets are made all over the world. We will explore the basic stitching techniques of this traditional and versatile basketry method, and make a small basket using materials sustainably harvested from the local area.

The course is suitable for beginners. We will be a small group to allow for individual attention and work at a relaxed pace.

Ticket price includes all materials, teas, coffees and a light lunch.
